please buy my books! - KRAD's Inaccurate Guide to Life
ramblings from a mad fedora'd writer
please buy my books!
Sorry for the plaintive cry for help, but money is very tight right now.......

If you would like an autographed copy of one my books, but can't get to a convention that I'm attending, I'm now making it easy on you. You can get any of the books listed below just by buying them from me via PayPal (payments would go to keith@decandido.net) at cover price or less (see list below), and I'll send the book(s) to you. I'm not charging for shipping within the United States. If you're overseas, send me the book price, and I'll bill you after I ship them for the shipping cost.

If you want the book inscribed, please tell me who to inscribe it to -- and if you don't want it inscribed (or don't want it autographed) let me know. You also need to provide a shipping address, obviously....

I also dug up an extra copy of my Nebula Award-nominated 2003 anthology Imaginings: An Anthology of Long Short Fiction, and so added it to the list.

What the heck? I got my income tax rebate check the other day, and you're a good cause... though it's difficult to find books on that list I don't already have.

How about a copy of "Tales from the Captain's Table" and "The Art of the Impossible". I know I don't have "Art of the Impossible". I don't think I have the Captain's Table book. I think I'm just remembering seeing the cover art at a Shore Leave panel.

I'll put this all in my paypal comments to. You can inscribe them to Karen or Terpette, and if you're out of either one let me know and we'll see what else I can pick for the same price.

West Trek

I will pay you $200.00 for an original West Trek (what is the size of the thing between a short story and a full blown novel?) yeah, one of those...

A sort of behind-the-scenes-what-happened-after-the-destiny-triology-tie-in-story...

I believe you have my e-mail address....

Not kidding.

Re: West Trek

You only think you're not kidding.

Leaving aside the fact that doing such a thing would violate CBS/Paramount's copyright and Simon & Schuster's license agreement -- even if we danced around that, somehow -- the blunt truth is that if you want a novella, it'd cost you a considerable amount more than $200. Two hundred bucks gets you a thousand-word short-short. *grin*

Oooh...can I request Finding Serenity (I actually was planning to buy this anyway, for a paper on animals in science fiction that compares Firefly and Blade Runner, so yay) and also Star Trek: Mirror Universe (how do I not have this already)? And can I ask, if you would, to inscribe either or both of them to Kristin (yep, that's me)?

Now I shall have to remember how to log into my PayPal account...
splendidissima From: splendidissima Date: May 7th, 2009 02:28 am (UTC) (Link)
Ok, just did the PayPal thing...definitely a worthy cause.

Also, I hope you're feeling better--I had strep throat when I was in England a couple of years ago, and it was a horrific experience. :-/
