Wow, that's a gorgeous cover. Let me know if you have anything pluggable about it and I'll forward it to my DarkWorlds editor. Hopefully, if DW is still running by then (it might shut down, which saddens me to no end), I can do a review as well for ya.
The MPAA made them remove the gun from the final movie poster (somthing about underage character holding a gun - silly if you ask me). So it looks like they are using the same artwork for the book. I liked it better with the gun. Oh well. Jeremy
Which means that the luck bastard that won the Joss-signed poster in our charity raffle is basically holding on to the Serenity version of the "Revenge of the Jedi" poster. Niiice!
Not that I'd ever judge a book by its cover, but I think it's safe to say most of us were anticipating this way before we had any clue what the outside would look like. :-)
Finally amazon.com can get rid of that stupid (who is that 8th character) promo shot they have been using as a placeholder artwork for your book.
Personally I would have preffered a more standard SF cover with the ship, and the crew and space (like the Firefly DVD set cover). But this is pretty cool.
I love how Zoe seems to be glaring at Jayne at the bottom. :)
It just seems a little odd that the title isn't very prominent. I would have expected it to be bigger, since there's so much extra black space at the bottom.
I can't wait to read it! It's actually above Harry Potter on my must-read-now list!!
