By some miracle, I'm actually home this weekend. No conventions, no trips to see friends, no family obligations, no recording sessions, no bookstore events, no coffeehouses, nothin'. Just me and wrenn home alone. Yowza. I do have some work that needs to get done -- a short story edit for a client, and I need to finish writing a story for an anthology that's taken way longer than it should for me to get done. The latter is for the next Defending the Future anthology, edited by Mike McPhail for Dark Quest Books, and I need to get it done so I can get moving on writing the Torin-and-Danthres-first-meet story that I'm Kickstarting (so please support me if you haven't!), and then work on the other stories for the two collections I've got coming. But mostly I want to spend the weekend relaxing. The only physical activity I'm planning is to take Wrenn to Central Park to visit that park's zoo (which I haven't been to since I was a kid) and the carousel tomorrow. Just hope it doesn't rain much..... What do y'all have planned for the weekend? Current Mood: tired Current Music: "Let it Rock" by Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
