I've got two short story collections under contract, Tales from Dragon Precinct and Ragnarok and Roll: Tales of Cassie Zukav, Weirdness Magnet. Some of the stories are already done, but I have four more stories for the former and six more for the latter.
In order to get myself back on the schedule I want to be on -- to wit, spending the final months of the year writing the mystery novel that's been percolating in my head, and then doing Gryphon Precinct in the new year -- I want to try to get all ten stories done by the second week of October. I have no idea if this will work, since it will require me to write two stories a week for five weeks.
For those of you wondering, the four Dragon Precinct stories -- which will go alongside reprints of the extant stories in the universe -- will include a Danthres solo story (since there's a Torin solo story already -- "House Arrest" from Bad-Ass Faeries), an Iaian and Grovis story, a Dru and Hawk story (the Corwin case mentioned in Goblin Precinct), and a story that follows up on Brother Genero, Bogg, and Ubàrlig, the remnants of the heroic party from Dragon Precinct.
As for Cassie, in addition to the four existing stories -- two of which haven't been printed yet -- there will also be three linked stories involving Key West ghosts, two more stories that, like the title tale, will involve Norse mythology, and one involving a UFO. Cha cha cha.
