new Wonder Woman trailer!
I WANT THIS MOVIE RIGHT NOW, I DON'T WANT TO WAIT UNTIL JUNE, AUGH!

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was pretty much a train wreck, but the extended cameo by Gal Gadot as Diana of Themyscira was by far the most compelling part of the film, and both trailers have just whetted my appetite for more. And this trailer uses the incredibly awesome music cue from BvS:DOJ, OMG it's awesome!!!!!

*ahem*

Pardon me, I'll be in the corner squeeing.

EDITED TO ADD: I suspect that a very popular cosplay at San Diego, at NYCC, at Dragon Con, and in general at conventions in summer and fall 2017 will be women in blue dresses with swords sheathed in the back....

Current Mood: geeky geeky
Current Music: "Thick as a Brick" by Jethro Tull

i thought wonder woman was supposed to be a WW2 story, but my brother thinks that since camptain america was a WW2 story, they put this in WW1.

neither of us read the comics, so i don't know if any of this comes from them or not.

The first comic came out in 1941, so she had a WWII origin by default. Now that both of them are historical I like the idea of doing it in WWI - it's something we don't see much and the optimism of thinking that it's really the War to End All Wars has a lot of potential.

Alas, the problem with doing that as cosplay is the weapons rules in most of the cons around me would make it tricky.

Yeah, I don't usually get excited over trailers, but this is a good one.
