ooooooooooohhh... Susan, Greg, Dayton AND Keith, all in one collection.... weeeeeeeeeeeee!
my brain isn't twigging on the other authors (either + or -) so, i can just honestly say i'm likely to get this as these 4 stories will be good, and of the others, even w/ my ecclectic tastes, 1/2 of them will be good, so 9 of 14 stories = > 60%, and that is justification for a compilation in MY books :)

Well, let's see, of the ones you didn't name….

Schuster & Mollmann previously wrote the Scotty-focused S.C.E. eBook The Future Begins.

Dilmore has written a ton of stuff with Ward, and also wrote a story on his own for New Frontier: No Limits.

White wrote the S.C.E. eBook Echoes of Coventry.

Pearson and Sisson are both multiple contributors to the Strange New Worlds anthologies.

Swallow has written many articles for the Star Trek magazine, and also wrote a story for Voyager: Distant Shores.

Bennett wrote the novels Ex Machina, Orion's Hounds, and the upcoming The Buried Age, and also the S.C.E. eBook Aftermath.

Ingersoll wrote The Case of the Colonist's Corpse and the comic book All of Me, both with Tony Isabella.

This is the first Trek fiction for Trowbridge, McIntee, and Zahler. McIntee, however, wrote The Delta Quadrant, an unofficial guide to Voyager, and Trowbridge helped compile the Trek novel timeline that was in the back of Voyages of Imagination.

First Trek Fiction

I know Thom Zahler from way-back-when... he was one of the members of a Trek fan club I was part of 20 years ago. Great artist - was going to go off and do comics for a living - so he's finally getting his "overnight success"...

No fourth season story!?
kradical From: [info]kradical Date: May 9th, 2007 04:48 am (UTC) (Link)
Nope. However, there was supposed to be a story by Fred Bronson in the book, but he had to drop out due to other commitments. It's possible that his was to be a fourth-season entry....
