the Republican party sinks to a new low

This video was shown at the Republican National Convention today. The linked video is from YouTube and the Hoffmania.com web site, and includes not just the video, but Keith Olbermann's disgusted commentary following its airing on MSNBC. It's one of the most despicable, exploitative, repugnant things I've ever seen from a party machine that specializes in such things.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that the Republican Party is using the death of thousands of Americans in an attack that, oh yeah, hasn't actually been properly responded to seven years later, to try to win an election. So we can add this to the Swift Boat Veterans and Willie Horton and Watergate and "we want a woman in the White House" and "Maw, maw, where's my paw?" "Gone to the White House, haw haw haw" to the lengthy list of icky tactics used in a presidential election.
