congrats to George and Brad!

George Takei -- who was always my favorite on TOS -- and his longtime partner Brad Altman got married this past weekend in Los Angeles in a multicultural ceremony, representing Buddhism (the priest), Native Americans (the wedding bands), Japan (a Koto harp), Scotland (a bagpipe procession), and Trekkies (the best man and maid of honor were fellow Trek actors Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols, respectively).

I'm very honored to have spent time with both gentlemen, most recently at a party at Dragon*Con where George, Walter, Peter David, Terri, me, and others talked about the presidential race, and am thrilled that they were able to do this.

Congrats, guys. May you have many more years together.
