convention reduction

Due to cuts to both budget and space at the convention, I-Con 28 was unable to invite terri_osborne and I to attend as author guests this year, though we are hopeful of coming back next year. Given the economic woes we're currently having, I'm honestly okay with not having to pay for the rental car, tolls, gas, hotel, and food. *sigh*

For similar financial reasons, we MAY have to cancel Farpoint. Again, the cost of two nights at the hotel, car rental, tolls, and gas may simply be beyond our means. We'll have a better idea early next week.
