DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
US Daylight Savings Time (DST) is not observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or the state of Arizona, with the exception of the Navajo Indian Nation, which does observe DST. (Indiana adopted DST in 2006; 18 counties use Central Daylight Time, and 74 Eastern Daylight Time.) The Energy Policy Act of 2005 extended DST for one month so that, where it is observed in the US, it will start and end on the following days:
