Another 3000 words today. Good news: I'm at 65,400 words, which is 3400 words ahead of my pace. Bad news: I've got a ways to go. This may be my first book to break the 100K word mark.
A short story I submitted to a magazine almost a year ago finally got back to me with a rejection. I have no idea where else to send this very silly 1200-word story.
It's an all-dialogue story, which makes it the second all-dialogue story I've written that has no market (the other being "Wild Bill Got Shot," the "two beers and a story" tale I composed at WorldCon).
Having gotten over the rejection of that short story, I remembered another possible market. So off it will go in Monday's mail.....
