Robert Legault has died of a coronary.

He was fifty-eight. Apparently it happened very suddenly (as heart-related things do).

When I was a full-time editor, I used to hire Robert all the time. He was one of the best copy editors I ever had to work with.

He will be sorely missed.

Johnnie Carr, a less celebrated member of the famous Montgomery bus boycott, died Friday night at the age of 97 in a Montgomery hospital. She was in the hospital after suffering a stroke.
