OCLT, crazed writer, dark forces, ellie, command & conquer

Got a bunch done on Ghostwriting Project #1, and scripted the first three pages of the Alien Spotlight comic. The editor liked pages 15-22 quite a bit, and the artist is getting started on it. I'm now halfway through my first comic book (that will actually be, y'know, published) in nine years. Ka-freakin-zow.

Bed now...

eBook line on hiatus

It's been formally announced: the monthly line of original Star Trek eBooks that have been published (and that I've been editing) since 2001 is going on hiatus after the publication of Star Trek: The Next Generation: Slings and Arrows Book 6 this month.

The door is open to possibly do more original eBooks in the future -- the choice of the word "hiatus" is deliberate -- but for now, the line's taking a break. I'm obviously not happy about it, but all good things must come to an end -- I seem to remember somebody saying that once -- and I've got 74 S.C.E./Corps of Engineers eBooks and two anniversary miniseries to look back on and be immensely proud of.

the wire

goddamn, this is a good show

You know a show is good when they kill characters you like, and you don't care. Christ.

I'm talking about The Wire, which I've just watched the two most recent episodes of.

Fuck me sideways....
