A) Four places that I go to over and over: The dojo, the local Starbucks, suricattus's place, the PO box.

B) Four people who e-mail me (regularly): suricattus, girasole, my agent, and one of my editors.

C) Four of my favorite places to eat: My home (I like my own cooking), my parents' home (I like their cooking, too), the Japanese place up the street, Serendipity 3 in Manhattan.

D) Four places I would rather be right now: Nowhere, really, but four places I wouldn't mind visiting are Key West, Siena, San Francisco, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

E) Four people I think will respond: infinitydog, daytonward, terri_osborne, zen_sakka. Unless, of course, they don't. *grin*

F) Four TV shows I watch: Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, Stargate Atlantis, and CSI: NY.

I never could get the hang of Thursdays....

I have my weekly shrink appointment at 11.30, and then it's off to the Starbucks to write write write write write and write some more. I've started "The Unhappy Ones"--that's the title of the Klingon "wrath" piece for Seven Deadly Sins--and I need to make serious progress on it.

The head's better today. I may venture to karate tonight....

Star Trek: Alien Spotlight: Klingons coming in April

My esteemed editor at IDW has informed me that "Four Thousand Throats...," my one-shot Klingon story for the Star Trek: Alien Spotlight comic book, will be published in April 2009 -- just in time for my 40th birthday, amusingly enough. The art will be by the amazing J.K. Woodward, with a cover by David Williams. It will feature Kang telling three stories at three different points in his life, all with the "moral" of "four thousand throats may be cut in a single night by a running man." The first will be prior to "Day of the Dove," the second soon after the death of Kang's first-born son (cf. "Blood Oath," Forged in Fire), and the third shortly before his final battle with the Albino in "Blood Oath."
