I have my weekly shrink appointment at 11.30, and then it's off to the Starbucks to write write write write write and write some more. I've started "The Unhappy Ones"--that's the title of the Klingon "wrath" piece for Seven Deadly Sins--and I need to make serious progress on it.
The head's better today. I may venture to karate tonight....
My esteemed editor at IDW has informed me that "Four Thousand Throats...," my one-shot Klingon story for the Star Trek: Alien Spotlight comic book, will be published in April 2009 -- just in time for my 40th birthday, amusingly enough. The art will be by the amazing J.K. Woodward, with a cover by David Williams. It will feature Kang telling three stories at three different points in his life, all with the "moral" of "four thousand throats may be cut in a single night by a running man." The first will be prior to "Day of the Dove," the second soon after the death of Kang's first-born son (cf. "Blood Oath," Forged in Fire), and the third shortly before his final battle with the Albino in "Blood Oath."
