first Shards and Shadows review!

starri1 has reviewed Star Trek: Mirror Universe: Shards and Shadows.

On my contribution, "Family Matters":
I actually enjoyed this more than I expected, but that was less for the Klingon stuff and more for the friendship that was detailed between Gul Macet and Captain Klag, who both seem to be decent guys in this universe as well. A few scenes of Regent Worf on Qo'Nos, a few scenes of him mistreating Kurn, a few scenes between Macet and Dukat, and one great scene of a Klingon captain committing seppuku in order to salvage some semblance of honor for his house.

My favorite bit, though, comes from the review of Rudy Josephs's "The Sacred Chalice":
Lwaxana Troi runs a Betazoid whorehouse. There's plenty more that I can say about the story, but after "Lwaxana Troi runs a Betazoid whorehouse," do I really need to?

"The Next Doctor"

I've seen it, but I'm not gonna tell you what I thought.

Why? Because it's what I'm reviewing on "Couch Potato Salad" on the next episode of The Chronic Rift. The podcast will go live on Monday, and you can find out what I thought then. *nod*
