writing

progress....

Finished the script, finally. (Heck of a way to ring in the new year, but fitting, methinks.) I'll read it over tomorrow, then send it off to Editor Person.

new calendar preview

So the Schott's Miscellany calendar will have the most information of anything I've done in the page-a-day slot in the past. Each day (not six days a week, but each day), we'll have a piece of miscellany, a fact about the day, and a pithy quote.

It'll begin tomorrow. Happy new year!

I'm takin' what they're givin' 'cause I'm workin' for a livin'

The script has been polished and e-mailed off, the invoice has been faxed.

I'm doing something right now that I normally don't do, which is a sign of how ferkochte my writing schedule has become, to wit, writing four things at once. (Fucking GWP2; fucking move....) I'm writing Farscape: Strange Detractors (I've finished #1, and am waiting on Rockne's feedback), I'm writing the other comic book (I just turned in #1 tonight), I'm writing StarCraft: Ghost Academy Volume 1 (Chapter 1 is done), and I'm writing StarCraft: Ghost Spectres. While there are always several projects being juggled, I'm usually only in the hardcore writing phase of one thing at a time.

After tonight, my attention will be paid to Chapter 4 of Spectres. I don't want to write the next bits of F:SD, the other comic, or S:GA until I get feedback from, respectively, Rockne, my editor, and Blizzard. I doubt I'll hear from any of them any sooner than Monday, and more likely later than that.

So the plan is thus: Friday will be spent being Domestic Boy, working on my office (which needs to be beaten into shape) and the dining room, and also cooking a big batch of kitchen sink casserole to keep me going for a week or so. Saturday and Sunday will be spent writing Spectres some more, with a break for karate on Saturday.

We'll see if this plan actually, y'know, happens.....
