SUPERSTITION AFTER THE WEDDING DAY
The day after the wedding is the bride's day--its weather foretells the wife's married life.
The day after that is the groom's day--its weather foretells the husband's married life.
The weather on the third day after the wedding foretells the marriage's length.
A child is not a vase to be filled, but a fire to be lit.

UPS just arrived with two boxes. One was filled with copies of Star Trek: Mirror Universe: Shards and Shadows, which I'd already seen a copy of, and which I just have one story in.
The other, though, had copies of my new novel Star Trek: A Singular Destiny, which I had not seen a copy of yet, despite the book having already gone on sale.
I am very squeeful right now. *nods* Some 40 or so books later, and the thrill of holding a book with my name on the cover has yet to diminish.
I love my job........
