Spent pretty much the entire day from 11am-5pm at the BOOM! booth. The Farscape comics were moving with remarkable rapidity, to the point that Chip asked me to stick around at the booth instead of going to the BOOM! panel at 2.15 -- and then I lost track of time and never made it to the IDW 3.15 panel (though JK Woodward told me it went well).
We've sold a whole mess of the NYCC exclusive holofoil edition, and a whole mess of everything else. In fact, we've run out of copies of the Joe Corroney cover of issue #2....
I spent from 5-6 roaming the floor and chatting with various and sundry folks like Andrew Pepoy, David Mack (no, not that one), Steve Roman, Colleen Doran, Jamal Y. Igle, Janet Jackson (no, not that one, either), Alan Kupperberg, and plenty of others I'm forgetting because it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong day. Then at 6 was the Heroes in Prose panel with self, Paul Kupperberg, Ron Goulart, Marv Wolfman, and Greg Rucka, with the added benefit of the aforementioned Mr. Mack, Alan Kistler, Barbara Kesel, Bob Greenberger, and Marty Pasko in the audience.
Then zipping home to record the next episode of The Chronic Rift, which will go live on Monday, where Andrea and I are joined by Cinefantastique's Dan Persons and TV's Frank himself, Frank Conniff to discuss Mystery Science Theatre 3000 on the occasion of the show's 20th anniversary. (Yes, we're that old.)
Now I'm waiting on some late-delivery spare ribs (I love this town) so I can wind down and get some sleep, then start it aaaaaaaaaaall over tomorrow....
