Simpsons KRAD

iz ded from the weekend

Spending two days in full on Booth Mode (which is actually more exhausting than regular Convention Mode, because there really aren't any pauses in Booth Mode), then spending another day going through as grueling a promotion as I've ever gone through has left me pretty woozy today. *laughs* Unaided was a phone call at 8.30 from my bank. Yes, I'm overdrawn, thanks, I know. it should be fixed soon. The joys of freelance life in a shit economy....

Have a meeting with an agent about a potential project today, and I need to get back on the horse with Spectres. Oh yeah, and I have to have the patch sewn on my brown belt before I go to my first karate class as an advanced brown belt tonight. *big grin*

farscape comic

a nice review and a very very geeky preview of Farscape #1

First off, the Things I Like blog has a nice review of the first issue of the Farscape comic.

Also, if you have an iPhone or an iTouch, you can install a 61-screen preview of the first issue (the first 13 pages of the comic) on your device. Just follow that link, or go to the App Store on your device and search for "farscape."

I gotta tell you, it's COOL to have my comic book on my phone. *tee hee*

singular destiny

another Singular Destiny review, this time in Swedish!

Peter Rydén has reviewed Star Trek: A Singular Destiny for the Swedish web site Star Trek Databas, giving it 9 out of 10.

Peter was kind enough to translate a chunk of it for me:
The character Sonek Pran is incredibly interesting and it's seldom that a [fictional] character touches me so deeply. [...] The character feels very much real and the story that is told for us readers is credible and vivid. Keith R.A. DeCandido is like always a very good author.

buy my books!

If you would like an autographed copy of one my books, but can't get to a convention that I'm attending, I'm now making it easy on you. You can get any of the books listed below just by buying them from me via PayPal (payments would go to keith at decandido dot net) at cover price or less (see list below), and I'll send the book(s) to you. I'm not charging for shipping to the U.S. or Canada. EDITED TO ADD: If you're not in North America, e-mail me at keith at decandido dot net and we'll work something out in terms of paying for shipping.

If you want the book inscribed, please tell me who to inscribe it to -- and if you don't want it inscribed (or don't want it autographed) let me know. You also need to provide a shipping address, obviously. *grin*
