So the Yankees are in Anaheim -- where it's much much warmer -- to play the next two or three games of the American League Championship Series. In an uncharacteristically fan-friendly move, the Yankees are opening up Yankee Stadium today and showing Game 3 on the gigunda center-field screen. And by opening up, I mean opening up: there's no charge for admission. Of course, they're going to make a butt-load of money on concessions and restaurant sales and such, but it's still a great idea, and kudos to whoever came up with it.
In fact, I think it's such a good idea that I'm going to go. *grin* It should be fun.....
