Just finished going through the page proofs of Supernatural: Heart of the Dragon, which needed an immediate turnaround.
This after spending the day in Atlantic City. Contrary to my plan, I did actually play the poker slots again, but this time I seem to have figured out how to play them properly, because I came out $141.50 ahead! Yes, for the first time, I left A.C. with more money than I came in with....
Anyhow, Wednesday's plans are in flux due to it being 3.40am and me being fried. We shall see.

DECEMBER
If the ice will bear a goose before Christmas, it will not bear a duck afterward.
Originally the tenth month, December now closes the year.
If Christmas Day be bright and clear, there'll be two winters in the year.
The writer Saunders warned in 1679, "In December, Melancholy and Phlegm much increase, which are heavy, dull, and close, and therefore it behoves all that will consider their healths, to keep their heads and bodies very well from cold."
Robert Burns splendidly wrote in 1795: "As I am in a complete Decemberish humor, gloomy, sullen, stupid."
