cover to A Long Time Ago: Exploring the Star Wars Cinematic Universe

While my Star Trek resumé is extensive, my repertoire in the Star Wars universe is significantly limited. In fact, up until recently it consisted of one essay, in BenBella's Smart Pop volume Star Wars on Trial. But this fall, that number will double, as I have another SW essay coming out, in Sequart's A Long Time Ago: Exploring the Star Wars Cinematic Universe, which is the first of three volumes chock full of essays examining the galaxy far, far away, and which will cover the six films. Subsequent volumes will cover the comics and the prose.

My essay is entitled "Top Ten Positives about the Prequel Trilogy." Yes, I came up with ten good things about The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith, and I may or may not have been drinking when I pitched that article to Rich Handley and Joe Berenato* after they said nobody had volunteered to talk about the prequels, y'know, at all.

* I was totally drinking when I pitched the article...

Anyhow, Sequart has released the cover to the book, which should be out by year's end (just in time for some movie or other to be released....), and here it is!
