30-day TV/movie meme, Day 3

This is a nifty meme where each day you cite something about movies and about TV for a month.

Movie Day 03 - A movie that makes you really happy

A Few Good Men. I never get tired of watching this movie. It was what introduced me to the magnificence that is Aaron Sorkin, and it still holds up as a great film. What I love about Sorkin's writing is that his words sparkle so that every actor in the piece can't help but look good -- actors of such variable talent levels as Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Jack Nicholson, and Kevin Pollak, as well as old reliables like J.T. Walsh, J.A. Preston, Kevin Bacon, and Kiefer Sutherland, all come across beautifully. (Wolfgang Bodison was also a true find. And note the cameos by Noah Wyle, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Joshua Malina....)

TV Day 03 - Your favorite new show (aired this t.v season)

Justified. I explained why in my review for the "Couch Potato Salad" segment of The Chronic Rift podcast.
