Ahem. The Mom/retired college professor waxes pedantic/lyrical

A reminder that the first verse of this song, which is rarely sung, is in the voice of a woman.

Also, seminal comes from the Latin for seed, whence comes semen, of course. I always prefer germinal whence germination, or growth, and has thus fewer Male-centric connotations.

I have had an extremely hard day, and am currently giving no fucks at all. Take that as you will.
