help the author of Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise

If you're a Star Trek fan, then it's likely that you at least know about, if not own, a copy of Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise by Shane Johnson, published in 1987. The engineering reference book is one of the classics of its type, and a great guide for the TREK fan who loves the specs and diagrams.

Anyhow, in the intervening decades, Johnson has transitioned and is now Lora Johnson, and she needs help with medical bills relating to a birth defect. She's started a GoFundMe page, and every little bit helps. Please, if you can, give a bit to aid a fellow Trek enthusiast.

Another Mystery Solved

I'm going to have to look into this, as I love that book, and I dearly hope a revised edition will happen in the future.

Beyond that, thanks for this post, which cleared up some confusion I was facing on TrekBBS (do you go there at all these days?).

Re: Another Mystery Solved

My sojourns to the TrekBBS are rare, honestly. I still check in every few months or so, but it's been a while.
