KRAD's Inaccurate Guide to Life
ramblings from a mad fedora'd writer
on the new blog
Here's what I've been babbling about over on the Word Press blog:

From the archives: reprinting a 2012 piece on the journey of the characters of Danthres Tresyllione and Torin ban Wyvald from RPG characters to the stars of the "Precinct" series.

My latest appearance on the Hour of the Wolf radio show.

MINE!, the Planned Parenthood benefit comics anthology that I have a story in, won the Ringo Award for Best Anthology.

Talking about being a keynote speaker at the C3 conference, and also giving my schedule. Later, I provide the text of my keynote speech.

Podcast stuff:

Episode 242 of Literary Treks is an in-depth look at my first full-length Star Trek novel, 2001's Diplomatic Implausibility while Women at Warp does likewise for 2005's Articles of the Federation, plus an interview with me.

Tor.com stuff:

I provide a full review of Marvel's Iron Fist season two and also examine the show's use of martial arts and fight choreography.

On "4-Color to 35-Millimeter: The Great Superhero Movie Rewatch," I look at Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2. In addition, I take a gander at which movies got the most comments (as of the writing of that blog entry, anyhow) in the rewatch.

In addition, I review Venom for the site.

Current Mood: busy busy
Current Music: "My Love Will Not Let You Down" by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band

Wow, even The Mask had more comments than the Kick-Ass movies? I would've thought the ethical questions raised in the latter could generate some discussion...

Yeah, there was absolutely no interest in discussing either Kick-Ass movie. In fact, half the comments there were about the lack of comments!
