Author, editor, musician, baseball fan, and all-around long-haired hippie weirdo freak.

I've written a whole lot of novels, novellas, short stories, eBooks, comic books, and nonfiction, a good chunk of them in various media tie-in universes: Alien, Battletech, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cars, Command and Conquer, DC, Doctor Who, Dungeons & Dragons, Farscape, Firefly/Serenity, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, Heroes, Kung Fu Panda, Leverage, Magic: The Gathering, Marvel Comics, </i>Night of the Living Dead, Orphan Black, Resident Evil, The Scattered Earth, Sleepy Hollow, Star Trek, StarCraft, Stargate, Supernatural, V-Wars, World of Warcraft, The X-Files, Xena, Young Hercules</i>, and Zorro.

I've also got several stories out in my own universe of high-fantasy police procedurals, including novels (Dragon Precinct, Unicorn Precinct, Goblin Precinct, Gryphon Precinct, and Mermaid Precinct, with Phoenix Precinct and Manticore Precinct coming soon), and several short stories (some available in Tales from Dragon Precinct). I've written bunches of urban fantasy short stories set in Key West, Florida featuring a special young woman named Cassie Zukav, many of which are in the collection Ragnarok and Roll, published in 2013, with a second collection, Ragnarok and a Hard Place, due in 2021 or so. I debuted an urban fantasy series with A Furnace Sealed in 2019, featuring a supernatural hunter-for-hire named Bram Gold, with more novels to come, plus a couple short stories. I've also got stories of cops in a city full of superheroes (Super City Cops), Sherlock Holmes pastiches starring Shirley Holmes & Jack Watson in modern New York City (the two Baker Street Irregulars anthologies with more to come), and science fiction stories about a brilliant young woman named Connie de la Vega.

I'm also an editor, both of dozens of anthologies (Doctor Who: Short Trips: The Quality of Leadership, Star Trek: Tales of the Dominion War, Star Trek: Tales from the Captain's Table, Imaginings: An Anthology of Long Short Fiction) and several book lines (the Marvel Comics novels published by Berkley from 1994-2000, the monthly Star Trek eBook line published by Pocket from 2000-2008). I'm currently offering editorial services to any writers who might need some professional work on their novels and/or short stories via KRADitorial.

Musically, I'm a percussionist, currently with the parody band, the Boogie Knights. I've also played on stage and/or in the studio with the Don't Quit Your Day Job Players, David Honigsberg, Steve Rosenhaus, and the Randy Bandits.

The most up-to-date version of my bibliography is here (updated 7 July 2020).
